About Me

SSq: Steven W. Squires has been an engineering consultant since 1985. Mr. Squires obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1982 from Ohio Wesleyan University where he majored in Computer Science, Mathematics and minored in Physics. In 2003, Mr. Squires also received a Bachelor of Arts in Theology from Life Christian University. Over a span of 28 years, Mr. Squires has consulted for some of the nation’s top Military Systems Development contractors and Fortune 500 companies. In 2001, he co-founded a company that has developed a strategic partnership with a world leader in Medical Diabetic Systems. At that same time Mr. Squires discovered that he was diabetic. Vowing not to allow diabetes to destroy his family as it had virtually every member of his father's family, he absorbed every bit of knowledge and leveraged every professional relationship to gain the necessary knowledge to empower himself, and fellow diabetics, to live normal lifestyles despite the 24/7/365 management that diabetes requires. Currently, he is a Type 2 diabetic that wears a tetherless insulin pump and averages HbA1C's around 6.5.
